Day By Day Early Intervention is a highly experienced provider offering our support to education staff in kindergartens, and childcare settings. Designed using research-driven practices, and expert knowledge, our training aligns with the Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) domains, particularly in the areas of language and cognitive skills, social competence, emotional maturity, and physical well-being.

We specialise, but are not limited to, providing consultancy and training in the areas of speech and language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), use of visual supports, developmental delay, and disability, ensuring educators feel confident in fostering inclusive learning environments.

 

Our services are tailored for early childhood education and care (ECEC) settings, supporting children in the two years before school while working alongside educators and families. Our approach aligns with play-based, child-led learning, embedding language, motor, and social-emotional skill development into daily routines. Through educator coaching and family engagement, we equip key caregivers with practical tools to integrate therapy seamlessly into everyday experiences.

 

Our methodology ensures that intervention enhances, rather than disrupts, the education environment, aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). By fostering inclusive, holistic learning, we help children develop essential skills for school readiness, confidence, and participation, setting them up for long-term developmental success.

We uphold professional standards set by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), Reimagine Australia, and EYLF.

• 1:1 and Small Group Consultation and Training with Speech Pathologist: 1, 3 and 6 hours

• 1:1 and Small Group Consultation and Training with Occupational Therapist: 1, 3 and 6 hours (Coming soon!)

• Customised Educators Workshop (Larger Group): 1, 3 and 6 hours

• Program Development and Review

• Resource Development: customised visual schedules, communication boards

• Consultations via Telehealth
