Emma - Occupational Therapist
With over 13 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Emma has an extensive background in both paediatric and adult care. She has worked across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and school-based care, providing compassionate, trauma-informed support to clients of all ages. Her expertise spans a wide range of medical conditions, with a strong focus on family-centered, collaborative practice. Emma is skilled in identifying and addressing the unique strengths, needs, and challenges of individuals, ensuring they can engage meaningfully in their everyday activities.
Emma’s dedication to advocacy is deeply personal. She understands firsthand the importance of giving children a voice. This experience inspired her to develop a child-centered framework aligned with the Convention on the Rights of the Child, addressing systemic gaps that often silence children's perspectives.

Her commitment to children’s rights has led her to organize and facilitate a global online conference on Child Rights in Child Protection, bringing together experts and advocates from around the world. Emma is currently pursuing a Master’s in Advanced Studies in Children’s Rights with the Committee on the Rights of the Child at the University of Geneva, combining academic knowledge with practical experience to advocate for policies and practices that truly reflect the voices of children.

When not working as an Occupational Therapist, Emma loves dancing and spending time with her wonderful, busy children.
At Day by Day Early Intervention, our team is driven by a shared vision: to create a world where every child is heard, seen, and supported. We look forward to being guided by Emma’s amazing knowledge and passion. We are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.
